New Haven man faces first-degree assault charge after fight with his brother

Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 — A New Haven area man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was involved in a fight with his brother.
At about 4:12 p.m., the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home on Eddie Miles Road for a reported fight between brothers that involved a knife, injuring one of the brothers.
On their arrival, deputies found one of the brothers had a cut to his face. Their investigation determined that during an argument, one of the brothers used a knife to cut the other one.
The injured brother was treated at the scene by Nelson County EMS and transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
Roger Dale Donahue, 39, of New Haven was arrested on one charge of first-degree assault (domestic violence) and lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
