Obituary: Edward Lee Barnes, 76, Lebanon Junction

Edward Lee Barnes, 76, of Lebanon Junction,  died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at his home with his wife of 55 years, Patsy, by his side. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Keeling Trucking of Bardstown for 46 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ruth Barnes; and one brother, Teddy Ray Barnes.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Tammy Lynn Bailey (James), Sharon Kaye Bryant (Philip), Carrie Ruth Stewart (Ricky) and Amanda JoAnn Barnes (Mike); two sons, Steven Michael Barnes (Libby) and DeWayne Eddie Barnes; two brothers, Billy Paul Barnes and James Kenneth Barnes; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two best friends, Mike Pettit and Charles Mann; and his faithful cats, Punkin and Wilma.

There are no services planned at this time.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
