Obituary: Stephen Marshall Stansbury, 34, Bardstown

Stephen Marshall Stansbury, 34, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, in Bardstown. He was born Dec. 25, 1983, in Louisville to Charles Stephen Stansbury and Cecelia Humphrey. He was an employee of Johnan America in Bardstown.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Stephen Stansbury; and his grandparents, Charles Stansbury, Clarence Calvin and Annie Opal Humphrey.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cecelia and Billy Joe Curtsinger of Bardstown; one brother, Charles Benjamin Stansbury of Bloomfield; and his paternal grandmother, Marguerite Stansbury of Bloomfield.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Simpson officiating. Burial is in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
