Obituary: Paul Edward Fultz, 82, Hodgenville

Paul Edward Fultz, 82, of Hodgenville, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehab in Elizabethtown with his family by his side. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. After retirement he went to work driving a truck for CNH Transportation and the Hodgenville City Police. He was born Sept. 9, 1936 in LaRue County to the late Gaddie and Opal Bowen Fultz. He was a loving father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sada H. Fultz; his parents, Gaddie and Opal Bowen Fultz; and one brother, Billy Ray Fultz.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Aton of Elizabethtown and Nancy Sue Carmack of Rineyville; one son, Bobby William Fultz of Hodgenville; one sister, Peggy Dean of Louisville; six grandchildren; sex great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
