Obituary: Mary Frances Phillips, 70, Bardstown
Mary Frances Phillips, 70, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born March 7, 1948, in Nelson County and a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Susie and William Phillips; two sisters, Beatrice Greene and Mary “Tita” Phillips; two brothers, James Phillips and William “Billy” Phillips; and one grandson, Ian Rogers.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherri (Wayne) Rogers of Bardstown; one son, Darius (Michelle) Phillips of Cincinnati; two sisters, Nannie Thompson and Martha Phillips, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Phillips and William “Bo Bo” Phillips, both of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Shanice Rogers, Julian Rogers, and Amanda O’Daniel, all of Bardstown, Alexis Mashek of Des Moines, Iowa, and Shontae Bridgewaters of Columbia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at St. Monica Catholic Church with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. Sunday prayer service.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
