Obituary: Linda Carol Cox, 64, Wilsonville

Linda Carol Cox, 64, of Wilsonville, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born in Bardstown and grew up in Bloomfield. She was a Spencer County resident for many years. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a former deputy Spencer County Circuit Court Clerk, and deputy Spencer County Clerk.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Ray Woford.

Survivors include her husband, Vincent Cox of Wilsonville; one daughter, Kristina Lyon (Tom) of North Port, Fla.; her mother, Betty Woford of Bloomfield; two brothers, Albert Woford (Monica) of Fairfield, and David Woford (Lisa) of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren, Nealee Lyon, Karlee Lyon, Tanner Lyon, and Daniel Lyon.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Greg Taylor and the Rev. Greg Knapper officiating. Burial is in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.

Visitation is noon – 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home in Taylorsville.
