Obituary: Robert Franklin ‘Bob’ Goodlett, 82, Springfield

Robert Franklin “Bob” Goodlett, 82, of Canary Court, Springfield, died at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at his residence. He was the plant manager at Armour Foods in Springfield where he had worked for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Clements Mudd Goodlett; four daughters, Lisa (Stephen) Smith of Versailles, Linda (Michael) Smith and Abby (Wesley) Smith, both of Springfield and Beth (Chris) Spalding of Louisville; one brother, Lloyd (Linda) Goodlett of Lexington; and 10 grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in Cemetery Hill.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, and 7-10:15 a.m. Monday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with a 7 p.m. Sunday prayer service.

Memorial contributions may go to St. Dominic Catholic Church in Springfield or Hosparus of Green River.

The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
