Obituary: SFC.(Ret) Kenneth Martin Mitchell, 76, Elizabethtown

SFC. (Ret) Kenneth Martin Mitchell, 76, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a member of VFW Post 10281 and American Legion Post 113. After the military, he was a car salesman for many years in Hardin County.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Mitchell of Elizabethtown; one a daughter, Dawn (Rick) Thomas of Bardstown; one son, Fred (Patti) Mitchell of Louisville; two granddaughters, Ava Rae Mitchell of Lexington and Chelsie Mitchell of Bardstown; and one grandson, Stefan (Jessica) Mitchell.

A private graveside service will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at the Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral home in Radcliff.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.

The Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
