Obituary: Dennis Gammon, 70, Mackville

Dennis Gammon, 70, of Harrodsburg Rd., Mackville, died at 8:48 am Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Masters Gammon of Mackville; two daughters, Jessica (Blake) Wright and Bethany (Steve) Walker, both of Mackville; two sons, Brad (Cherish) Gammon of Chaplin and John Allen Crain of Mackville; and 13 grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with burial in Peter Cemetery in Mackville with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, and 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Vietnam Veterans of America.
