Obituary: Paul B. ‘Dickie’ Kinder Jr., 65, Bloomfield

Paul B. “Dickie” Kinder Jr., 65, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in Kindred Hospital in Louisville. He was born June 2, 1953, in Nelson County to the late Paul B. and Rhoda Thompson Kinder Sr. He was a former employee of Wheaton Plastic in Springfield and was a member of Wakefield Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary Kinder and Wanda Kinder, both of Bloomfield; one aunt and many cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Tom Sparrow officiating. Burial is in the Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at the funeral home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Wakefield Baptist Church Memorial Fund.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
