Obituary: Douglas Driver, 53, New Haven
Douglas Driver, 53, of New Haven, died Nov.er 11, 2018. He was born June 25, 1965, in McMinnville, Tenn., to the late Robert Kenneth and Joan (Connaster) Dorton. He worked at Cardinal Fence as a fencer. He was known as an outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his big heart who loved everybody and had no enemies. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Jackie Dupin and Elizabeth Driver.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 18 years, Deborah (Murphy) Driver; two daughters, Carrie Miller (William) and Brittany Mullins (Brock Hatfield); one son, Erick Pierce (Ally Sharp);
two sisters, Janet Driver and Pam Forrest; one brother, Allen Driver (Susan); 10 grandchildren, Justice Miller, Savanna Groves, Jordan Miller, Joseff Miller, Amelia Mullins, Brooklyn Smith, Waylon Pierce, Ian Pierce, Braden Hatfield and Haley Hatfield; and a host of loving family and friends.
The funeral is noon Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, and 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
The Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
