Obituary: Ina Lois Williams, 84, Cox’s Creek
Ina Lois Williams, 84, of Cox’s Creek, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at her home. She was born April 18, 1934, in Cox’s Creek to the late Judson D. and Carrie Lee Jolly Taylor. She was a former sales clerk for various businesses in Bardstown. She loved genealogy work and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Louis Williams; one sister, Julietta Berlinicke; one brother, Leland D. Taylor; and three infant sons.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Shirley (Gary) Stauble of Louisville, Sandy Wallace of Cox’s Creek, and Cathy (Clay) Tumlin of Knoxville; one son, Jimmy (Linda) Williams of Bardstown; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at St, Michael Catholic Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, and after 8 a.m. Monday at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with prayers Sunday evening.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
