Two Bardstown residents indicted for criminal abuse against a child

Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, 4 p.m. – Two Bardstown residents were indicted by a Nelson Circuit Court grand jury on Wednesday, Nov. 17, for criminal abuse of a child younger than 12 years old.
Qulandra J. Tuner, 28 and Ronaled Eward Bradley Jr., 30, both of Bardstown, were charged each with two counts of first-degree criminal abuse and two counts of complicity to the same.
According to the indictment, sometime between Sept. 15 and Sept. 28, 2010, the pair allegedly intentionally abused a child 12 years of age or younger by causing torture and cruel punishment against the child.
Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions. The two are scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. in Nelson Circuit Court.
The charges are Class C felonies, which carry a penalty of at least five but not more than 10 years in prison.
