Obituary: Mark Jeffery ‘Fat Mark’ Ball, 58, Taylorsville

Mark Jeffery “Fat Mark” Ball, 58, of Taylorsville, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. He was born Sept. 10, 1960, in Cincinnati to Vernon Howard and Anna Reece Ball. He was the owner of Bourbon Trail Diner in Bloomfield.

He is survived by one daughter, Crystal Marie Ball of Taylorsville; his mother, Anna Ball of Taylorsville; two sisters, Dianna Geiser and Linda (Robert) Fagin, both of Cincinnati; two brothers, Billy Ray (Rita) Ball of Cincinnati and Tim Ball of Taylorsville; and one granddaughter, Lilly Ball.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville with Bro. Chad Goodlett officiating. Burial is in the Valley Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at the funeral home.

The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
