Obituary: Charles ‘Charlie’ Conner Cecil, 90, Mount Washington

Charles “Charlie” Conner Cecil, 90, of Mount Washington, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. He was born in Bardstown Dec. 9, 1927, to the late Noel and Octavia Cecil. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a retiree from General Electric.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife, Helen Cecil and his son- in- law, Ralph Early.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Carol Early and Tammy Colvin (Tim); one brother, Francis Cecil; five grandchildren, Shannon, Melissa, Autumn, Leigha and Camryn; five great- grandchildren, Noah, Brooke, Jacob, Presley and Easton; and a host of other dear family and friends.

The funeral is noon Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at the chapel of the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in the Mount Washington Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, and 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Mount Washington is in charge of arrangements.
