Obituary: Norma Jean Craig Fox, 85, Sonora
Norma Jean Craig Fox, 85, of Sonora, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville with her family by her side. She was born April 19, 1933, in Jefferson County to the late Granville Calvin and Ollie Mae Polston Craig. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, she loved to crochet, and cook for family and friends, she loved life. She was a Christian by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Fox of 43 years; her parents; one sister, Bertha Pervis; and two brothers, J.C. Craig and Raymond Craig.
She is survived by eight children, Leda Rigdon and Regina (Hugh) Smith, both of Sonora, Calvin (Linda) Fox of Shepherdsville, Ricky (Jan) Fox of Fairdale, Roger Fox of Henry County, David (Carolyn) Fox of Magnolia, Danny (Ramona) Fox of Springfield, and Bonita Rock of Hodgenville; one brother, Harold Craig of Shepherdsville; 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with Brother Joe Jolly and Bro. Obadiah Okeson officiating. Burial is in the Sonora Cemetery in Sonora.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2018.
