Obituary: James E. Redner, 72, Mount Sherman

James E. Redner, 72, of Mount Sherman, died Saturday Dec. 1, 2018, at University Hospital in Louisville with his family by his side. He was born May 26, 1946, in Oakland Calif., to the late Clyde P. and Marian L. Tyler Redner. He was a mechanic/welder for Advanced Paving & Equipment Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four stepbrothers.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Johnson Redner of Mount Sherman; three sons, Christopher (Deanna) Redner of Cox’s Creek, Scott Redner of Louisville, and Nicholas (Mariola) Redner of Mount Sherman; four grandchildren, Trevor, Rebecca, Kristina, and Morgan Redner; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service is 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018. There will be a private burial service in the family plot.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
