Mary Ellen Wheatley French, 79, of Pleasure Ridge Park died at 3:35 am Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at her residence.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Marie (Steven) Klepadlo of Palmyra, Ind., Laurie (John) Cecil of Louisville and Jane (Mike) Orm of Taylorsville; two sons, Jimbo Osborne and Larry Osborne, both of Louisville; three sisters, Dorothy Mae (Martin) Osborne of Mount Washington, Laurita Wheatley of Louisville and Susie (Joe B.) Yates of Springfield; seven brothers, Benny Wheatley, Frank Wheatley, Tom (Kay) Wheatley, Mike (Katie) Wheatley, Herman (Debbie) Wheatley and Richard “Dick” Wheatley all of Springfield and Mark (Patty) Wheatley of New Hope; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, and 7-9:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday.
The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
