Obituary: Johnathan Anthony Barr, 31, Bardstown

Johnathan Anthony Barr, 31, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018. He was born May 25, 1987, in Macomb County, Mich. He was an employee for Scheller’s Fitness and Cycling. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a 2005 gradyate of Nelson County High School, and a student of Indiana Tech.

He is survived by his loving partner, Chelsie Ryan of Bardstown; one daughter, Oakley Marie Barr of Bardstown; two sons, Liam Robert Barr of Bardstown and Landen David Barr both of Bardstown; his parents, Gary and Lynne Barr of Bardstown; two sisters, Sarah Gendron and Jessica Barr (Jack) DeVos of Hampton, Va.; and one brother, Daniel (Cynthia Brown) Gendron of Bardstown.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow. The Rev. Marlon Cummings will officiate.

Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at the funeral home.
