Obituary: James Houston King Sr., 45, Louisville

James Houston King Sr., 45, of Louisville, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Romana Newman King; and his siblings, Debbie King and Delbert King.

He is survived by his children, James King Jr. of Shepherdsville, Britney Sanders (Garrett) and Auston King, both of Bardstown, Dalton King and Whittni King, both of Taylorsville; his siblings, Yvonne Hogan (Troy) of Charlestown, Ind., Starr Barry and Karenn Sturgill (Clint), both of Bardstown, and Royce Wendall King II of Shepherdsville; his grandchildren Justin Michael Rich and Addelyn Sanders; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral is 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at the Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville.

The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
