Obituary: Rhonda Brady, 45, Bardstown
Rhonda Brady, 45, of Bardstown, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, in Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born Feb. 14, 1973, in Bardstown to Stanley and Judy Brown Brady. She was an employee of the Guthrie Opportunity Center, attended Active Day, volunteered for the Humane Society of Nelson County, and was an athlete with the Special Olympics. She was a member of The Lights.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wallace and Mary Ann Brown, and Brisco and Catherine Brady.
She is survived by her parents, Stanley and Judy Brady of Bardstown; two sisters, Shannon (James) Oller of Bardstown and Allison (Eric) Mattingly of Springfield; two brothers, Aaron (Tara) Brady and Todd (Felisha) Brady, both of Bardstown; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial is in the St. Thomas Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road with a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the family for funeral expenses.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
