Local woman indicted on charges of forgery and theft from local business

Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 — A Bardstown woman was indicted Wednesday by a Nelson County grand jury on theft and forgery charges related to allegations she took more than $59,000 from a local business.
Beth Renee Young, 47, of Bardstown, was indicted for allegedly taking and forging 58 checks from a local heavy equipment provider for a total amount of $59,064.31. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.
Young is scheduled to be arraigned in Nelson Circuit Court at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.
