Obituary: Terry Eugene Burton, 55, Elizabethtown

Terry Eugene Burton, 55, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Hardin County and loved working with animals and loved people.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Eugene Burton; and one brother, Eddie Lee Burton Sr.

He is survived by one son, Scott Christopher Lyons of Elizabethtown; his mother, Elizabeth Faye Burton of Elizabethtown; four sisters, Regina Burton of Hodgenville, Selena (Bill) Peak and Amanda Burton, both of Elizabethtown and Tammy Burton of Bardstown; four brothers, Timothy Burton of Hodgenville, Darren (Betty) Burton, Branden Burton and James (Toni) Burton, all of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial is in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Donations may be made to Brown Funeral Home for the funeral expenses.

The Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
