Sons of American Legion present officer of the year award to Jason Woodson

Monday, Jan. 7, 2019 — The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 121 presented the 2018 Jason Ellis Officer of the Year Award to Bardstown Police Officer Jason Woodson.

Sons of the American Legion 121 Squadron Commander pro tem Steve Carter presented the award along with Police Chief Kim Kraeszig.

Sheriff Ramon Pineiroa, American Legion Post 121 Commander Al Rooks and Post members and guests were also present for the ceremony.

Other officers nominated for the award included Officer Mike Clark, Officer Jeff Decker and Detective Eric Williamson from the Bardstown Police Department and Deputy Chris Conway and Deputy Dalton Pinkston with Nelson County Sheriff’s Department.
