Obituary: Charles William Wright, 77, Shepherdsville

Charles William Wright, 77, of Shepherdsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Louisville. He was a former Bullitt County constable, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Faith Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by one son, William Todd Wright; his parents, William Wilson and Thelma Louise Braun Wright; and one sister, Pat Yarbough.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda “Tiny” Abell Wright; seven children, Michael Wright (Tia), Connie Davis (Chris), Marcy Keys (Bob), Michelle Wright, Cam Wright (Daniel), Christopher Wright (Ashley) and Jessica Wright; three sisters, Alice Brewer, Linda Fizer and Diane Burnett; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, sister in laws, and a brother in law he loved dearly.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at Faith Assembly of God Church with Pastor Tim Miller and Pastor Mike Rodgers officiating. Burial is in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
