Obituary: Edith Conley, 97, Bardstown

Edith Conley, 97, of Bardstown, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Bardstown. She was born May 25, 1921, in Paintsville to the late Mont and Alice Conley. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Conley; and her parents, Mont and Alice Conley.

She is survived by one daughter, Marcia (Greg) Back of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Sam (Lesley) Clendening and Melissa (Mike) Penney; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at Newcomers Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd., Beaver Creek, Ohio 45432.

Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at the Newcomers Funeral Home in Beaver Creek, Ohio. Burial is in the Valley View Cemetery in Xenia, Ohio.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
