Obituary: Gerald ‘Gary’ Francis Ferriell, 62, Bardstown

Gerald “Gary” Francis Ferriell, 62, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He was born July 31, 1956 in Louisville. He was a manager at Kohl’s, a graduate of UofL with a degree in political science. He was a UofL Cardinals fan, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lillie Ferriell.

He is survived by one sister, Lisa (Carl) Frazier of Louisville; three brothers, Don (Louise) Ferriell of Louisville, Denny (Kathleen) Ferriell of Bardstown, and Jim (Vickie) Ferriell of Mount Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating.

Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
