Isaiah House to open women’s treatment center Feb. 4 in Harrodsburg

The Lisa Walker Center will offer residential treatment for drug addiction to women. The facility will begin accepting clients on Feb. 4, 2019.

Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 — A new substance abuse treatment center with ties to Nelson and Washington counties will soon open in nearby Harrodsburg.

The Isaiah House treatment center, which manages four centers serving 138 male clients, will open the Lisa Walker Center to provide the nation’s best treatment to female clients battling addiction.

The Lisa Walker Center will serve as many as 16 residential clients at a time. Each center is staffed with two licensed therapists, a registered nurse, a targeted case manager and several certified peer support specialists, as well as house management staff.

The Lisa Walker Center is now accepting applications and will begin admitting clients on Feb. 4. Payment options will include self-pay, KORE, most commercial insurance plans, and Medicaid.
