Obituary: John Montgomery Sr., 52, Bardstown
John Montgomery Sr., 52, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at his residence. He was born Oct. 21, 1966, in Philadelphia. He was the owner of Montgomery Auto Mart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Montgomery and Diana Lydin; and one brother, Eugene Smith.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelby L. Montgomery of Bardstown; one son, John Montgomery Jr. of Bardstown; two sisters, Michelle Scott and Luisa Kuza both of Michigan; his longtime companion, Lisa Bean of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home with the Rev. Karl Lusk officiating.
Visitation is 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to Humane Society of Nelson County.
