Obituary: Jack W. Kendrick, 91, Mount Washington

Jack W. Kendrick, 91, of Mount Washington, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019. He owned and operated the old Kendrick Brothers International Harvester dealership in Mount Washington. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pauline Barnett Kendrick; one daughter, Jackie Theis; his parents, Monte and Ida Denny Kendrick; six brothers, Harold Kendrick, Waldo Kendrick, Monte Kendrick, William Kendrick, Teddy Kendrick and Milton Kendrick; and two sisters, Caroline Lockwood and Janet Kleinstuber.

He is survived by one daughter, Monna Jean (Brett Rogers); four sons, Stephen (Terry) Kendrick, David Kendrick, Michael Kendrick, and Philip Kendrick; two sisters, Betty Arnold and Delores Decamillis; six grandchildren, Travis, Whitney, Lee, Michael, Jared, and Caroline; and one great granddaughter, Taylor Theis.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, and after 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019.

Memorial gifts are suggested to Hospice of Nelson County.
