Obituary: David Christopher Spencer, 28, Willisburg

David Christopher Spencer, 28, of Willisburg, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born Feb. 20, 1990, in Fremont, Calif., to John Henry and Sandy Cornish Spencer. He was an employee of Miles Tree Service.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jenny JoEllen Spencer and Ashleigh Noel Spencer; and his grandparents, Charles Cornish, Chris Spencer and Jo Lenore Spencer.

He is survived by his parents, John and Sandy Spencer of Willisburg; one sister, Jonna (Corey) Milburn of Willisburg; one half-sister, Angelique Gebele of Ohio; two half-brothers, Kelly Spencer of Tennessee and Jamie (Elise) Spencer of Seattle, Wash.; his maternal grandmother, Doris Cornish of Chaplin; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Keith Creech officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at the funeral home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions for funeral expenses.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
