Obituary: Elizabeth Mae Lewis, 82, formerly of Nelson County

Elizabeth Mae Lewis, 82, of Mount Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019. She was a native of Nelson County and a Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Bessie Crowe; one sister, Mildred Denny; and one brother, Kenneth Crowe.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Harvie Lewis;
one daughter, Sue Richardson (Billy); two sons, Donnie Lewis (Sherri) and Wayne Lewis (Tracy); two sisters, Louise Parsons and Elsie Welton; one brother, Junior Crowe; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at Schmid Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in the Mount Washington Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Schmid Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
