Obituary: Toribio ‘Toby’ Sedano, 57, Upton

Toribio “Toby” Sedano, 57, of Upton, went to be with his heavenly Father at his residence in Upton with his family by his side. He was born May 1, 1961, in Guadalajara, Mexico to his parents, Nicolas and Maria Luisa Salazar Sedano. He was a member of Our Lady Of Mercy. He worked as the general manager for McAlister Restaurant in Elizabethtown. He also previously worked for Petro, Steak & Shake, and Cracker Barrel as manager.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Dori Ann Deslich Sedano of Upton; two daughters, Sofia Sedano and Garaciela Sedano, both of Upton; two sons, Benjamin Sedano and Nicolas Sedano, both of Upton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Church in Hodgenville with the Rev. Dennis Cousens officiating with burial in St. Joachim Cemetery in White City.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, with a 7 p.m. Friday evening prayer service in the Chapel of William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, is in charge of arrangements.
