Obituary: Kenneth Taylor Reed, 59, Magnolia

Kenneth Taylor Reed, 59, of Magnolia, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born June 2, 1959, in Elizabethtown to the late Kenneth Eugene Reed and to his mother Avalon Skaggs Reed. He was a facility manager with Elizabethtown Community & Technical College. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Eugene Reed; and his first, Pamela Denise Reed.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Carly Cruse Reed of Magnolia; two daughters, Courtney Keith of Elizabethtown and Bryanna Keith of Hodgenville; one son, Andrew (Allison) Reed of Elizabethtown; his mother, Avalon Skaggs Reed of Hodgenville; one sister, Ann Carol (Danny) Hodges of Elizabethtown; one brother, William Walter (Lauralene “Luke”) Reed of Hodgenville; one granddaughter, Harper Gray Reed; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, with Bro. William Brandon Reed officiating with a private burial at Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville is in charge of arrangements.
