Obituary: Carolyn Sue Culver Harned, 74, Bardstown

Carolyn Sue Culver Harned, 74, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at her residence. She was born Jan. 22, 1945, in Bardstown to the late Victor O’Connell and Nancy Rogers Culver. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sisters, Nancy Nadine Culver; and one brother, Herbert Culver.

She is survived by two sons, David (Anita) Montgomery of Clarkson and Billy Montgomery of Bardstown; her mother, Shauna Sorrell; two sisters, Marian (Jimmy) Mattingly and Nadine (Tiny) Smith, both of Bardstown; three brothers, Victor (Jane) Culver, John Culver, and Joe (Georgeann) Culver, all of Bardstown; two grandchildren, William (Jennifer) Brown and Layla Montgomery; and one great-grandchild, Cole Brown.

The family followed her wishes of cremation.

Visitation is noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
