Nelson Circuit Court Indictments–June 15, 2011

The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. They are set for arraignment in Nelson Circuit Court on July 7, 2011 unless otherwise indicated.
11-CR-171. Curtis W. Baggett, 33, Bardstown, theft by unlawful taking, persistent felony offender, second-degree.
According to the indictment, between May 25-27, 2011, Baggett allegedly took tattoo equipment and a video game system worth more than $500 but less than $10,000. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-172. Cynthia E. Humphrey, 27, Bardstown, possession of a forged instrument in the second-degree (two counts).
According to the indictment, on May 12, 2011, and May 22, 2011, Humphrey allegedly possessed two forged checks for $100 each that she passed at PNC Bank. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-173. Jennifer Marie Reed, 35, Bardstown, assault, first-degree; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, first offense; failure of owner to maintain required insurance; failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-174. Melissa Anne Wolney, 38, Shepherdsville, welfare fraud (over $100).
According to the indictment, between July 1, 2008 and Feb. 28, 2009, while living in Nelson County, Wolney allegedly failed to advise the Department for Community Based Services of her correct household circumstances and received $679 in food stamp benefits to which was not legally entitled. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-175. Thomas M. Greer, 54, Bardstown, criminal mischief, first-degree, wanton endangerment, first-degree.
According to the indictment, on June 2, 2011, Greer is alleged to have intentionally rammed his John Deere tractor into a 1998 Ford Explorer, causing property damage to the vehicle with a value of more than $1,000. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-176. Jamie C. Richardson, 36, Cox’s Creek, manufacturing methamphetamine and complicity to same; possession of a controlled substance and complicity to same; and possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity to same.
According to the indictment, on May 10, 2011, Richardson, either acting alone or in concert with Timothy L. Curtsinger, allegedly manufactured and possessed methamphetamine and possessed drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-177. John Wayne Phillips, 30, Bardstown, trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree; possession of handgun by convicted felon; cultivating marijuana, five or more plants.
According to the indictment, on May 26, 2011, Phillips allegedly possessed cocaine with the intent to sell or transfer it. He was also allegedly in possession of five or more marijuana plants and a Taurus 9mm handgun. Bail was set at $100,000 cash only plus conditions.
11-CR-178. Timothy L. Curtsinger, 25, Cox’s Creek, manufacturing methamphetamine and complicity to same; possession of a controlled substance and complicity to same; and possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity to same.
According to the indictment, on May 10, 2011, Curtsinger, acting alone or in concert with Jamie C. Richardson, allegedly manufactured and possessed methamphetamine and possessed drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only plus conditions.
