Obituary: Frank Jackson, 81, Cox’s Creek

Frank Jackson, 81, of Cox’s Creek, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired welder, and a member of Little Union Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly Ann “Babe” Jackson; and his parents, Roy and Edna Stump Jackson.

Survivors include two children, Ina Cummings and Charlie Blake; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial to follow in Little Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the funeral home.

The McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington is in charge of arrangements.
