Obituary: Patricia Ann ‘Pat’ Brown, 88, Bloomfield

Patricia Ann “Pat” Brown, 88, of Bloomfield, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville. She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Nelson County to Herbert and Exie Mae Cheatham Montgomery. She was a retired secretary for Blend Pac Inc. and a legal assistant for Sue Sutherland Attorney at Law. She was a member of the Deer Park Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harland Brown.

She is survived by a daughter, Patti Liz Brown of New Mexico; one sister, Jeannie (Arnold) Koerber of Louisville; one brother, Larry “Shug” Montgomery of Huntsville, Ala.; four nieces; one nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral is noon Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Deer Park Baptist Church, 1733 Bardstown Road, Louisville, with Bro. David Platt officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the church.

The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
