Two suffer minor injuries after early morning rollover crash on KY 49

Thursday, June 23, 2011, 2:55 a.m. — Two people were injured about 2:15 Thursday morning after a single-vehicle rollover injury accident on KY 49, the Loretto Road.

The driver of the vehicle was a 19-year-old man who complained of overall soreness and elbow pain. An 18-year-old woman was his passenger in the car. She complained of generalized pain and scratches to her hands and face. She did not remember the accident, EMTs said. Both individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The pair were transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
