Obituary: Carl E. Thomas Sr., 83, New Haven

Carl E. Thomas Sr., 83, of New Haven, died Thursday, March 14, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired sheet metal worker, HVAC contractor, and a member of Suburban Lodge #740 F & AM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Irene Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Robbins Thomas; three daughters, Debbie Edelen, Lisa Smith (Marion), and Carla Thornsberry (Bruce); four sons, Eddie Thomas, Timmy (Karen) Thomas, Brad Thomas, and Shawn Thomas; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home.
