Dorothy Louise Hill Edelen, 91, formerly of Edelen Ln., Springfield, died at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Village of Lebanon.
She is survived by her husband, Julian “Blue” Edelen; three daughters, Pam (Rich) Brizendine of Louisville, Betty (Charles) White of Lebanon and Julia (Ben) Byarlay of Lexington; five sons, Don (Jo Ellen) Edelen of West Lafayette, Ind., Pat (Tess) Edelen of Springfield, Mike Edelen of Bardstown, John (Debbie) Edelen of Danville and Bruce (Sandy) Edelen of Lexington; five sisters, Imogene Spalding and Laurencia Brussell, both of Lebanon, Louise Eichenberger of Louisville, Margaret Marshman of Chicago and Jane McGowan of Middletown, Del.; one sister-in-law, Veronica Hill of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019, and 7-10:15 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019, at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
