Obituary: Alice Jean Johnson, 78, Bardstown

Alice Jean Johnson, 78, of Bardstown died Saturday, March 23, 2019, at UK Healthcare. She was born January 5, 1941, in Louisville. She worked as a nurse. She was a member of Eastern Star Queen of Nelson, Women’s Auxiliary Post 167, and many other organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. T.E Johnson; one daughter, Chico Feleecia Fulmore Johnson; one grandson, Jonathon Edward Johnson; her parents, Russell Waymer Denny and Agnes Elizabeth Watson Primus; two sisters, Linda Shahee and Marquerite Wade; one brother, Theodrick Seals; and one uncle, John W. Adam.

She is survived by four children, Belzora (Joseph) Scott of Louisville, and Waymer Keith (Elaine) Johnson, Shauntia Primus and Enriquez Primus, all of Bardstown; one sister, Mary Bea Wilson; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

The funeral is noon Monday, April 1, 2019, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens with the Rev. Joseph Marshall officiating.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Monday, April 1, 2019, at the funeral home.
