Amber Alert issued by KSP Post 2 for missing Dawson Springs teen

Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 2:09 a.m. — Kentucky State Police have issued an Amber Alert for 16-year-old Lauryn Sizemore who was last seen Saturday at her home in Dawson Springs. The alert was issued just before 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Sizemore was last seen at just past midnight Friday, March 29, 2019 inside her bedroom in Dawson Springs. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 was when Lauryn was noticed as missing from her home.

The man she is believed to be with is her stepgrandfather, Glenn Eugene Harper. He is approximately 56 years old and is believed to be driving a 2004 Hyundai Sonata, maroon in color, bearing Kentucky temporary tag 9555994. One of the rear doors has a black plastic piece missing.

Harper advised a friend of his that he was going to Texas. His brother and father live together in the Houston, Texas area.

Lauryn Sizemore is 4′ 8″ tall and 130 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with black strings. KSP said one identifying physical feature is that she has a lazy eye.
