Thursday, April 4, 2019 — The identity of the skeletal remains located Wednesday in a wooded area behind Windsor Gardens is still unknown while the state medical examiner’s office in Louisville conducts its examination of those remains.

Bardstown police responded just after 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to a call that a homeless man was camping near the Windsor Gardens assisted living facility on Isaac Greer Court. While searching the area, officers located the skeletal remains.
