Bardstown Community Orchestra schedules its Spring concert

Tuesday, April 10, 2019 — The Bardstown Community Orchestra will present its 2019 Spring Concert at 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019. The concert will be at the Church of the Ascension, 211 N. Third Street, Bardstown. The orchestra, formed in the early fall of 2014 is completing its fifth year.

The first part of the concert will feature selections from George Friedrich Handel’s Oratorio, Judas Maccabaeus and Jean Joseph Mouret’s Suite des Symphonies Number One.
The second segment will take concert attendees on a musical journey beginning in the Cumberland Gap, proceeding into Appalachia, through portions of Kentucky and back through the Cumberland Gap area.

There is no admission charge. Donations are welcomed.
