Obituary: Frederick Alexander ‘Freddie’ Edmondson, 80, LaGrange

Frederick Alexander “Freddie” Edmondson, 80, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Richwood Nursing Home in La Grange. He was born Aug. 24, 1938, in Anderson County to the late Norris and Hazel Coulter Edmondson. He was a retired employee of General Electric, a farmer, a U.S. Navy veteran, and loved to fish and play the guitar.

He is survived by one sister, Louise Wells of Louisville; one brother, Robert (Doris) Edmondson of Brighton, Colo.; his guardian, Darrell Edmondson of Taylorsville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service is 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation is 9-10:45 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
