Obituary: James Kevin Edelen, 57, Springfield

James Kevin Edelen, 57, of Booker Road, Springfield, died at 12:44 am Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hagan Edelen; one daughter, Savannah Edelen of Springfield; his father, Jim Edelen of Springfield; and his mother-in-law, Marguerite Chesire Hagan of Holy Cross.

The funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at St. Rose Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2019, and 7-10:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at the funeral home.

The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
