Bardstown City Pool set to open this Saturday, June 1, 2019

Tuesday, May 28, 2019 — The Bardstown City Pool will open Saturday, June 1, 2019, for the summer. Regular pool hours will be 1-5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $5; the cost for Family Swim on Wednesday evenings, 6-8 p.m., is $3. Children 2 years and under are free. Adults 55 and over are free. Individual and group passes are also available.

WATEROBICS CLASSES. Waterobics classes will be offered June 4 – Aug. 8, 2019 on Tuesday & Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon, or 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. No class held July 4. The cost of the class will be $140 + tax for 10-week session; drop-in cost is $10 per class. Sign-ups will be taken until May 31, 2019.

LESSONS. Swimming Lessons are also available for anyone ages 3 to adult wanting to learn how to swim, or become a better swimmer. The cost is $50 + tax per participant. Sessions will be held during the following dates: June 4-14, 2019; June 18-28, 2019; July 2-12, 2019, and July 16-26, 2019. Class times will be Tuesday through Friday in the mornings, and in the evenings.

SWIM TEAM. The Bardstown Barracuda Swim Team is now taking registrations. The cost is $75 + tax and can be turned in to the Recreation Department by May 31, 2019. The parent meeting will be held at the pavilion by the pool at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

RENTALS. Pool Rentals are also available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
