Obituary: Daryl Ray Collier, 53, Bardstown

Daryl Ray Collier, 53, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, June 11, 2109, at his home. He was born Sept. 12, 1965, in Williamstown to William Ray “Billy” and Clara Jean Hall Collier. He was a simulator technician at UPS. He loved sports and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Ray “Billy” Collier; and one brother, Cliff Penick.

He is survived by his mother, Clara Jean Hall Collier of Dry Ridge; one son, Jason Collier of Bardstown; and one brother, John (Nancy) Penick of Dry Ridge.

The graveside service is noon, Monday, July 1, 2019, at the Kentucky Veterans North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Dry Ridge, Ky.

Visitation is 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
