Obituary: Bobby J. ‘Joey’ Mattingly Jr., 43, Bardstown

Bobby J. “Joey” Mattingly Jr., 43, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home. He was born Jan. 12, 1975, in Springfield. He was a Quailty Engineer for EPC of Lebanon. He loved to restore and work on cars, motorcycles and attend car shows.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby J. Mattingly, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Avis Mattingly; one son, Jude Thomas Mattingly of Bardstown; his mother, Judy Luckett Mattingly of Springfield; one sister, Kristen Mattingly of Florence; two brothers, Daniel (Shelley) Mattingly of Lebanon and Dustin (Carrie) Mattingly of Bardstown; and his pets, Nora Jones, Layla and Shaq.

His memorial visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
